U.A.A. Vzw "Fortes Fortuna Adiuvat"
Ultralight Aviation Adventures is a non-profit organisation established November 25th 2008. It's initial purpose is to raise funds for charity thru ultralight aviation. The first, and probably biggest, project on the agenda is the organisation of the fastest ultralight circumnavigation. The worldrecord attempt will try to cut the present record time of 80 days in half and circle the globe in a maximum of 40 days, thereby traveling 41.000 km or 22.138 Nm. This flight will sponsor the Belgian Child Cancer Foundation or Kinderkankerfonds vzw by donating a fixed amount of Euros for every kilometer we travel. After this record flight UAA vzw will continue to work for charity using ultralight aviation. If the ultralight aircraft can break the world record then we surely intent to be present it at airshows and fairs to raise money for different charities.
Also, on our minds, is the organisation of ultralight navigation flights, where we offer the possibility to book a several days trip. These trips can be flown with private ultralights, we will organize the complete trip including navigation, landing permits, hotels, taxes, etc ...
Anyway, UAA vzw will try to help charities as much as possible and this, only, thru aviation and everything that relates to this great sport.
